Yogyakarta, April 28, 2025 — Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held the Graduation Ceremony for Postgraduate Program 3rd Period of the 2024/2025 Academic Year on Wednesday (04/23) at Grha Sabha Pramana. Among the 1,455 graduates from the Master’s, Doctoral, and Specialist programs, 21 graduates from Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST) continued the farewell at Kamarijani-Soenjoto Auditorium Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
The graduates of MFST made notable achievements. Among them, Wa Ode Reza Sindy Warni became the fastest Master’s graduate that completing her studies in 1.5 years. While Muhammad Aditya P, who was 23 years old at graduation time, was recognized as the youngest graduate. In this period, the average GPA of MFST graduates was 3.80 with the highest reach 3.95.
The Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof Ir. Eni Harmayani, M.Sc., delivered a speech during the farewell ceremony. She congratulated the graduates on their academic achievements, accomplishments, and the conferral of their new academic titles. Her speech expressed happiness and take pride in graduates, while also reminding them to maintain their passion for lifelong learning and not to let it end along with their graduation.
“UGM will always be open to alumni who wish to return for further studies, collaborate, or contribute to their alma mater,” said the Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
This third graduation ceremony was not just a moment to celebrate academic success but also a moment to reignite the spirit of perseverance. Graduates of postgraduate program, particularly from MFST, are expected to bring a positive impact and be lifelong learners throughout their journey.
