Five MFST UGM Students Present Innovative Food Research at KIMI V 2026

Surakarta – Five students from the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), participated in the Fifth Congress of Indonesian Young Scientists (KIMI V) 2026, held on 15-15 July 2026 at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta.

Organized by the Indonesian Young Academy of Sciences (Akademi Ilmuwan Muda Indonesia/ALMI), the congress brought together young scientists, senior researchers, industry representatives, and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and facilitate the translation of scientific findings into practical benefits for industry and society.

Yogyakarta, July 1, 2026 — The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a guest lecture entitled “Thesis Proposal Writing and Publishing Success: A Practical Guide from Research Gap to Publishable Manuscript with a Case Study on Bioactive Compounds for Acute Metabolic Syndrome.” The event was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Strengthening International Collaboration through Erasmus+ Staff Training: Dr. Isabel Atienza Navarro Visits UGM

Yogyakarta, June 18, 2026 – The Master Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), welcomed Dr. Isabel Atienza Navarro from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Cádiz (UCA), Spain, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility program held from June 15–19, 2026.

The mobility program represents an important milestone in strengthening the long-standing collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada and the University of Cádiz.
