The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, continues to strengthen its international network while preparing for the development of the 2026 Curriculum.
The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, celebrated the graduation of 16 students at the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony Period III of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday, 23 April 2026.
Jakarta, April 15, 2026 – The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, visited PT IMCD Indonesia in Jakarta as part of its efforts to strengthen collaboration between higher education and the food industry.
This activity marked a strategic step by MFST UGM to improve the relevance of its learning and research so that they remain aligned with industry needs, while also opening opportunities for collaboration that can provide real benefits for both students and industry partners.
During the visit, the Head of MFST UGM, Dr. Widiastuti Setyaningsih, was welcomed by Imelina Waty and Kevin, Head of Laboratory Food and Nutrition at PT IMCD Indonesia.
Connecting research, community service, and postgraduate learning requires one important step: going directly to the field. This was the approach taken by the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Universitas Gadjah Mada, during a field survey conducted on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Gunung Gambar, Gunungkidul, as part of preparations for a research-based community service program focused on robusta coffee.
The activity took place in Padukuhan Gunung Gambar, Kapanewon Ngawen, Gunungkidul Regency, with the team led by Dr. Widiastuti Setyaningsih, S.T.P., M.Sc., Head of the MFST Study Program.
