MFST UGM Reviews Student Research Progress Through Thesis Progress Seminar

Yogyakarta – From students who are still collecting data to those already working on their theses and research manuscripts, 40 students from the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MFST UGM), presented the progress of their research during the Thesis Progress Seminar held on August 13-14, 2026.

The seminar gave students from the 2024 even-semester intake and earlier cohorts who are still completing their studies a chance to review their research progress, discuss challenges, and plan the next steps toward finishing their theses and scientific publications.

The event was held in a hybrid format in Rooms 504, 505, and 514 at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology UGM.

21 MFST UGM Students Refine Diverse Food Research Topics Through Thesis Proposal Examinations

Yogyakarta – A total of 21 students from the 2025 odd-semester intake of the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MFST UGM), took part in the Thesis Proposal Examinations held on August 10-11, 2026, in Rooms 505 and 514 at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology UGM.

The proposal examination is an important stage before students begin their thesis research.

Five MFST UGM Students Present Innovative Food Research at KIMI V 2026

Surakarta – Five students from the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), participated in the Fifth Congress of Indonesian Young Scientists (KIMI V) 2026, held on 15-15 July 2026 at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta.

Organized by the Indonesian Young Academy of Sciences (Akademi Ilmuwan Muda Indonesia/ALMI), the congress brought together young scientists, senior researchers, industry representatives, and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and facilitate the translation of scientific findings into practical benefits for industry and society.
