The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MFST UGM), celebrated the graduation of 17 students during the first postgraduate graduation period of the 2026/2027 academic year.

Yogyakarta, 30 September 2026 – The Master in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, continues to provide comprehensive support to help students navigate and successfully complete their studies.

The Master’s Programme in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), visited Kasetsart University’s Bangkhen Campus in Bangkok, Thailand, on 3 September 2026.

Research findings from a student thesis in the Master’s Programme in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), were featured as part of UGM’s presentation at the 14th ASEAN Food Safety Forum 2026.

Yogyakarta – A total of 21 students from the 2025 odd-semester intake of the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MFST UGM), took part in the Thesis Proposal Examinations held on August 10-11, 2026, in Rooms 505 and 514 at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology UGM.

The proposal examination is an important stage before students begin their thesis research.

The Master Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, hosted Prof. Eduardo Cortón from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, for a series of academic activities comprising a guest lecture and a workshop on 20-21 Juli 2026.

Sri Endang Lestari Ningsih, a student of the Master’s Programme in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Universitas Gadjah Mada, successfully completed the Six University Initiative Japan Indonesia-Joint Program for Master Students (SUIJI JP-MS) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kagawa University, Japan.
