The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FTP UGM), continues to expand its global academic and research network through various international activities.

Students of the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology UGM, joined a guest lecture with Prof. Mohammad Taherzadeh, Chief Scientific Officer at Millow AB, Sweden, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

The Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, organized an industrial visit for the even-semester 2025 student cohort to Banaran Coffee Factory and Museum in Semarang and Pawon Luwak Coffee in Magelang on Monday, 27 April 2026.

Connecting research, community service, and postgraduate learning requires one important step: going directly to the field. This was the approach taken by the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology (MFST), Universitas Gadjah Mada, during a field survey conducted on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Gunung Gambar, Gunungkidul, as part of preparations for a research-based community service program focused on robusta coffee.

The activity took place in Padukuhan Gunung Gambar, Kapanewon Ngawen, Gunungkidul Regency, with the team led by Dr. Widiastuti Setyaningsih, S.T.P., M.Sc., Head of the MFST Study Program.
